What affects the price
- Number of videos and their length
- Usage rights: organic only, or paid ads as well, and for how long
- Whether the creator films at a location or from home
- Complexity of the edit, sound and graphics
- Speed: faster delivery usually costs more
- Whether the creator also posts to an audience of their own
- The experience of the creator
How to compare quotes
Line up the deliverables, the usage rights and the number of changes, not just the total. A lower price with narrow rights can cost more once you want to run the video as an ad.
Watch for missing items
Check whether the quote includes editing, captions, product shipping, travel and any extra rounds. A clear quote lists them.
Start small
If you have not worked with a creator before, a small first project teaches you more than guessing. You see how the process works and which hooks your audience likes before you commit to more.
